Patients come to see me for all kinds of reasons—from chronic back pain and sciatica to anxiety and psychological “stuckness.” I enjoy helping patients regain their health naturally, using the holistic approach of Chinese Medicine. And, perhaps more importantly, whatever the particular condition, I have a passion for helping my clients deepen their personal growth and spiritual cultivation. That is the magic of Chinese Medicine.

How I Became Interested in Chinese Medicine and Personal Growth

I was fortunate to develop an interest in spiritual cultivation at a young age. After starting martial arts in high school, I became fascinated with personal growth and development, particularly with the transformative power of martial arts and meditation. As I learned and studied various spiritual traditions and practices, I settled on Chinese medicine as a career path.

Within Chinese medicine, I found a sense of spirituality that I could live and embody in myself, as well as share with others. Along with my studies at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley, CA, I have also had the honor to study Medical Qigong with Dr. Suzanne Friedman, Esoteric Acupuncture with Dr. Mikio Sankey, Medical Intuition with Carolyn Myss and Dr. Norm Shealy, Arcturian Healing Method with Dr Gene Ang and Visionary Craniosacral Work with Hugh Milne.

My Specialties

Oncology Support

Medical Qigong is widely used in China for Oncology support and is very helpful for helping the body through any type of cancer as well as maintain physical and emotional health through cancer treatment. Andrei has studied these methods extensively and has developed various treatments as well as exercises and meditations for supporting treatment of any type of cancer.

Neurology

The brain and the nervous system are highly responsive to any energy treatment modality. These treatments are a basis of creating a strong and resilient nervous system. Andrei has developed specific treatments for optimizing neural health. These combine Medical qigong with specific healing frequencies for brain balancing and nervous system functioning

Psychology

Energy Medicine is uniquely able to identify and help process deeper layers contributing to any psychological imbalance. These can be in the form of subconscious beliefs, traumas, addictions, as well as emotional blocks or wounds from environment and relationships. Andrei has done extensive work combining energy healing with intuitive coaching to not only heal but transform any psychological condition- from just feeling stuck to depression and anxiety.

Wellness

Medical Qigong and Energy Healing can also be used as an ‘activation’ to your highest potential.Think of this as a way to clean out the internal ‘closet’ of your subconscious mind and allow deeper insights to emerge from your own intuitive guidance.

Chinese Medicine “Gets” The Big Picture

A holistic approach is what characterizes Chinese Medicine. To me this means that each part of reality is interdependent with a larger context. From this perspective, true health goes well beyond “fixing” broken parts in isolation. I’m passionate about helping people understand how their health issues are connected to the bigger picture—the bigger picture of their bodies as a whole, and the bigger picture of how their physical health is related to their emotions, thoughts, diet, relationships, career, spirituality, creativity, and more

Praise For Andrei

CS

I go to Transformational Acupuncture currently for chronic lyme disease treatment, which is VERY complicate to treat especially as its mostly in my nervous system. I picked Andrei to try on my first appointment because his bio emphasized nervous system knowledge, and now I see him almost every week! So empathetic and knowledgeable. I feel noticeable better after each and every appointment. Andrei will remain my guy as long as I live in DC!

Education & Training

Medical Qigong and Energy Healing

Medical Qigong and Energy Healing are a natural extension of my spiritual development. I’m able to ‘tune into’ the energetic layers of the body and help people understand how these layers are affecting their body, emotions, and mind.

By helping people clear blockages on these deeper energetic layers, Medical Qigong and Energy Healing help lay the foundation for physical, mental and emotional healing. And beyond healing a specific health issue, Medical Qigong and Energy Healing can also be used as an ‘activation’ to your highest potential.

Think of this as a way to clean out the internal closet of your subconscious mind and allow deeper insights to emerge from your own intuitive guidance.

Yoga

During my undergraduate education at Georgetown, I became fascinated with the Yoga tradition. I had become a regular at Down Dog Yoga, where I would eventually become part of the staff and took my first Teacher Training. I also was fortunate enough to participate in a study that allowed me to learn Transcendental Meditation (TM) which was one of the greatest gifts I have received in my life. After a few years practicing yoga, I was particularly inspired by Sri Dharma Mittra and completed his Life of a Yogi training.

Movement practice

After a few years living in DC working in yoga, I discovered acrobatics. I started practicing Acroyoga, which is a blend of partner acrobatics, yoga, and Thai massage. Through my Acroyoga community, I found flying trapeze and became an instructor at Trapeze School New York’s Washington DC location.

Bodywork practice

As my physical practice was developing and becoming more dynamic, I also found the healing arts, originally in the form of Thai massage. What I immediately loved about Thai massage was that it was a really great way to share my movement practice and connect with others to bring about health and wellness through movement. This was a breakthrough for me as it was my introduction to my study of the healing arts and a way that I could share my passion for self cultivation with others. It was also a blessing to have many friends in the acrobatics world–I was able to help them through all kinds of tension and injuries that can occur as a result of rigorous training. Thai massage was my gateway to my formal bodywork training, where I focused on acupressure, craniosacral and shiatsu. I also had the pleasure of training directly with Hugh Milne, who teaches Visionary Craniosacral Work, a beautiful, heart-centered, intuitive look at craniosacral therapy, which involves sensing the subtle shifts in the skeletal system and fluid body.
