I like to dig in, find problems, and find the solutions — I want to make billing smoother for patients, our office, and everyone involved.

—  Pronouns: She/her/hers  —

A Short Introduction

I bring nearly 30 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management to Transformational Acupuncture. I first joined the practice part-time in 2020 and moved to full-time in 2024.

My goal has always been to make billing as clear, organized, and stress-free as possible—for both our patients and our team. I love finding ways to streamline processes, stay compliant with payer guidelines, and create a smoother experience overall that supports our clinic’s holistic mission.

My Training

I learned everything I know about medical billing and revenue cycle management through hands-on experience. I started in the field as a temporary employee and quickly found a passion for the problem-solving side of the work.

Over the years, I’ve advanced through roles in primary care, pediatrics, and cardiology practices, ultimately managing full billing departments. Nearly three decades later, I continue to value the practical training and adaptability that come from learning on the job.

My Approach

I’m very policy-driven and detail-oriented in my work. I make it a priority to review each payer’s policies and guidelines, creating cheat sheets that help keep our office consistent and compliant. I believe in keeping patients informed from the start—no surprises when it comes to billing. My approach is rooted in organization, transparency, and problem-solving, so that both patients and practitioners can focus on care, not confusion.

I make sure we’re always keeping within payer guidelines and that patients clearly understand their financial responsibility before they ever get a bill.
