I believe healing begins when patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable in their care.

A Short Introduction
I am a licensed acupuncturist in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
My interest in acupuncture began through personal health challenges after childbirth, when I experienced significant physical pain and insomnia. Through exploring traditional East Asian medicine, I saw meaningful improvements in my own health, which led me to pursue formal training in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
This experience continues to shape how I approach patient care, with a focus on listening closely and supporting each individual’s healing process.
I believe lasting healing comes from addressing the root cause while supporting the whole person.
My Education in Acupuncture
I earned dual Master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and am currently completing a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAcHM).
My training has given me a strong foundation in traditional East Asian medicine, along with a growing focus on integrative and evidence-informed care.
My clinical approach includes a range of treatment styles, such as Traditional Chinese acupuncture, electroacupuncture, SaAm acupuncture, Master Tung acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, and trigger point therapy, along with cupping and herbal medicine.
I also have additional training in more specialized techniques, including Battlefield Acupuncture (auricular therapy for pain and PTSD), oncology-focused acupuncture training, and advanced methods such as RSN acupuncture and Medical Acupotomy (Chimdo).
My Patients
I work with a diverse group of patients experiencing a variety of concerns, including pain, stress, digestive issues, and women’s health conditions.
I take time to listen carefully to each patient and understand their unique needs. My goal is to create treatment plans that are both supportive and practical for daily life.
I Would Like to Specialize In…
I have a particular interest in women’s health. My studies have expanded to cover a wide range of concerns, including fertility, gynecological conditions, prenatal and postpartum care, menopause, and hormonal balance.
My personal and clinical experiences have deepened my understanding of the challenges many women face and continue to shape my patient-centered approach to care.
My Passion and Training in Chinese Herbal Medicine
I incorporate Chinese herbal medicine into treatment when appropriate and see it as an important complement to acupuncture, especially for supporting long-term health.
My personal experiences have also strengthened my belief in timely, holistic care and the importance of supporting long-term health.
My Favorite Herb Is…
One of my favorite herbs is Dang Gui, which is commonly used in women’s health. I appreciate its versatility and its long history of use in traditional medicine.
